Dear fellow members

We hope that you all had a restful festive season and that you and your families are well.

We have seen new restrictions come into force and of course this has meant that we are now back to Stage A, where there can be no rugby activity at the community level.  This of course means that we see our Club closed again.

This comes as a blow to us all, especially as we were working on organising games and had seen the first friendly, a great turnout and result against Mossley Hill, for the men on December 19.

As with the first set of restrictions the Board believe that we cannot continue to collect direct debits from Members and have suspended all DD Payments until we can return to meaningful rugby activity.

This will cause an impact on Club finances and there may be some people who feel that they would like to continue to contribute to the finances of our Club.  If you would like to continue to contribute please contact Club Secretary, Campo, via sefton@seftonrufc.co.uk.

Alternatively, members can join the "100 Club" for a monthly chance to win £100 – please see details below for how to join.

Please see our Social Media or contact Sian Hughes for more details.

We have also recently signed up for fundraising through "Easy Fundraising"  - please see below for details on how to sign up.

The decision has also been taken to cancel the 2019/2020 Club AGM.    The current Directors, Captains and other Officers of the Club will remain in post until we can hold our 2020/2021 AGM.  We will monitor developments and make plans for this when we can.  The details of the Club finances were published on the website and if you have any questions please contact Roy Spencer at finance@seftonrufc.co.uk

If you have any questions for the Board please contact communications@seftonrufc.co.uk

It is important that you keep yourselves and your family well so please follow Government advice.  Everyone is reminded that mental health is important too and if you find that you are struggling there are charities that can help:

Please all stay safe and we look forward to the day we can get together again.
